Pony The Interruption

Based on the ESPN show “Pardon the Interruption,” the audience decides what we discuss! Drawing from old cards from previous runs of this panel over the years, we will take turns drawing at random of all sorts of horse subjects to discuss. Once we select a subject, we set a timer for three minutes and spend that time discussing the topic. Once the timer goes off, we stop and draw again. Lather, rinse, repeat!

The Structure of Fimfiction

In 2016, Bad Horse recorded every follower-following relationship on fimfiction. In 2018, he used a clustering algorithm on that data to divide fimfiction into groups of readers with similar tastes, and gave a survey to 1500 fimficcers in order to study the differences between these groups. The results show that fimfiction is divided surprisingly cleanly into about 9 different genre fandoms, each with distinctive tastes in fiction and attitudes towards MLP, who are mostly unaware of each other except through a special
cluster of "star bloggers and authors" known to everyone.
