Join our Design Team!

We are looking for some more artists to join the design team here at TrotCon!

As our staff artist, you would create the artwork for our banners, posters, badges, and other promotional materials, including relevant drawings for our news and guest announcements. You will need to be able to fulfill art requests in a timely manner – though we’ll try not to overload you with too much work. Our theme for our 2021 event is Pirates.

One of the art team positions we are looking to fill is a background artist.

If interested, contact us at conchair@trotcon.net and provide a link to your gallery or samples of your work. Once we narrow down the list, we will contact the finalists requesting a simple commission to see how you work with our mascots.

All finalists will also receive a free badge to the convention. And everyone who did apply but was not chosen as a finalist will receive a coupon for 40% off of a badge for TrotCon 2021.

The selected finalist artist(s) will receive:
• Design Team Staff Status
• One free table in our Vendor Hall, discounted rate for extra tables
• A spot in one of our staff hotel rooms for the weekend of TrotCon
• Any posters or merchandise designed for TrotCon by the artist will also be split 50/50 in profit

Submissions need to be entered no later than 08-14-21 at 11:59pm EST.
