A Heart & Soul of the Pony Fandom puts themselves on the map; Foal Papers is our next TrotCon 2021 Community Guest!

Thought we was done givin’ ye Community Guest star power for TrotCon in a few weeks? Ye would be dead wrong!

Joining our pony pirate ship crew in little over two weeks (!!!) is a pony who is a true heart & soul of the Brony fandom; a decorated programming host, incredible panelist, charity auctioneer, convention historian, drinker of tea & all-around splendid individual, we proudly welcome FOAL PAPERS as our next Community Guest of TrotCon 2021!

Foaly can't quite believe that they've now been a fan of candy-colored magical friendship horses for over a decade, but somehow it has indeed been that long since 2011 – and what an unexpected and joyful ten years! In that time, Foaly has presented on the links between MLP:FiM and Greek mythology at academic conferences and fan conventions around the world; they've moderated panels with a broad swath of the Powers That Be of the franchise; they've co-hosted a plethora of charity auctions in support of excellent causes alongside Dustykatt and other fabulous folks; and they've run around a lot in an unspecified and befuddled rush. Online, they've participated in a variety of livestreams and shows, helped actively shape the fan community on Twitter, and tracked the fandom’s charity and convention undertakings with their beloved spreadsheets. Foaly enjoys tea and Jaffa cakes more than can be healthy, and is uncomfortable yet vaguely amused describing themself in the third person (woah this is getting pretty meta right here). You can usually find them tweeting too much over on @Foaly / Emily (they/them) – “Be excellent to each other”

Foaly will be joining for plenty of programming all TrotCon weekend-long, from moderating panels to hosting our highly anticipated charity auction & everything else in-between! An incredible spirit for an incredible con & a pony who truly brings warmth and the fandom’s spirit into every panel room they walk into, we can’t tell ye how excited we are to welcome aboard Foal Papers & all the incredible con memories that will be made with them to this TrotCon 2021 shipping crew!
