TrotCon
Harassment Policy

TrotCon considers harassment as any action or act, legal, illegal, sexual, or otherwise, that makes any other person feel uncomfortable, anxious, or injured in any fashion, whether the action is sustained and continuous or not. If you feel that you are a victim of harassment, TrotCon asks that you report the incident immediately to any member of our staff. The best way to reach us is by sending a mention to any person with the Staff role on our Discord Server and they will get in contact with a member of the moderation team OR if in person go to our Con-Ops room. The sooner an incident is reported, the sooner we can respond to the incident. TrotCon recommends that if you feel you are being harassed that you ask the party perpetrating the harassing conduct to stop; but, will respond to the harassment whether you ask the party to stop or if you feel uncomfortable taking this action before reporting the incident.

This policy covers all online services being utilized for the TrotCon events, regardless of any Terms of Service such online service has in place.  Examples of harassment include but are not limited to:

  • Unwanted and inappropriate sexual advances;

  • Any speech that demeans, insults, or attacks any person or group based on religion, sex, gender, race, social class, education, disability, medical condition, or appearance; or

  • Any actions, in TrotCon Online staff’s sole discretion, deemed to be taken in a deliberate attempt to disrupt the event.
